The Rainbow Hub has opened its doors!
The first guests at the newly reopened Rainbow Hub were ambassadors and representatives of the diplomatic missions of the United States, United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, - Finland, Denmark, France and Italy. All in attendance once again expressed their support for the LGBTQIA+ community in Bulgaria. Well wishes were offered by Prof. Организация на евреите в България "Шалом" , the chairman of Alek Oscar , which has provided the property for the use of the GLAS Foundation and Bilitis Foundation for the next 10 years.
The Rainbow Hub is the heart and home of the LGBTQIA+ community. They offer information, support or just wanting to find community for those community members searching. There main activities include:
Organizing and empowering the LGBTQIA+ community
Providing support and services to LGBTQIA+ people
Place for meetings and community events
Presentation of exhibitions and cultural events
Training for specialists and activists
The reopening of the Rainbow Hub follows years of restoration after the center was attacked by invaded and destroyed in October 2021 by a group of far-right nationalists.
